Often it is believed that training and coaching is not the role of a leaders. I have heard many leaders prior to the training state that I am not a coach, that’s not my job…and guess what that’s not true…each leader has to step into varied shoes while handling his/her team and this is one among the rest.
Covid 19 situations have proved that this is a skill that can help engage employees, build their trust and a bond as a close family and help work towards achieving goals together. Now transparency is the key element in bringing the best among the employees. A dynamic leader understands that being a coach for their team is a must. Hence, developing this skill is an asset which help him/her go a long way.
